Soft wood or hardwood, with a 7 ton splitting force and a 2200W motor, this fantastic log splitter will easily keep your log pile well supplied whatever the winter may bring.It has a totally safe two handed operation that is much safer than swinging an axe and with large wheels and a carrying handle it can be transported to work on site. Please note: be sure to read the instruction manual before use. The unit should not be run hot - it needs to cool down for 30 mins after 1 hours use. Particular attention should be paid to paragraph 5 on page 8 regarding the 'air bleed' - a screw that needs to be open during use. Please ensure logs are seasoned (dry) before use
