Our beautiful Java Teak Westminster 17 piece dining set is the stylish look for your garden. The extending oval table measures 180cm extending to 240cm x 100cm x 74cm. The stacking chairs measure 63cm x 65cm x 94 cm. The set comes complete with garden cushions to make up the 17 piece arrangement. Because most of our Java Teak products share similar proportions, the overwhelming majority of our stock can easily be mixed and matched. Teak is a durable, beautiful looking wood, ideal for outdoor furnishings and will arrive golden in appearance with the wood being new. If left untreated - the maintenance free approach we recommend - the Teak will turn a silver/grey colour which is a perfectly natural characteristic of the wood. Some minor end-grain cracking may occur if left untreated, but this will not effect the strength or durability of the wood. All our products can be treated using our TEAK CARE PACK to maintain the original golden colour of the wood including oil, cleaner and brightener as part of the care kit. Teak, Tectona Grandis is one of the most valued woods in the world, being high in natural oils that give teak strength and durability making it virtually impervious to the elements. Our Java Teak range and supply is from the plantations of Perum Perhutani on the island of Java. These plantations are owned and managed by the government, who employ a comprehensive, sustainable replanting program.
