The controls are hidden on top of the air purifier with LED lights which can be dimmed for night time use. It is ideal for use in the bedroom or any room around the home.How it worksStadler Form has specially developed a new filter system for their air purifiers, the HPP (High Potential Particle) filter system. Airborne particles such as dust, dirt, pollen and viruses and bacteria are charged as they go through the HPP filter system, they are then trapped through numerous powerful magnet fields. The HPP is easily removed and cleaned with cold running water ensuring that no particles become loose; this also means that the filter doesn't need to be replaced.A pre-filter is used before the HPP filter system to trap any larger airborne particles; this helps to protect the HPP system as well as cleaning the air. To help remove odours from the air an activated carbon filter will remove most gases and odours such as tobacco and smoke.FeaturesAs well as cleaning the air the Viktor has a clever little fragrance dispenser which allows you to fragrance your room. This dispenser has a fleece inside onto which a few drops of your favourite essential oils can be placed, when you want to change the aroma simply remove the fleece rinse it out and use again. The Viktor has 5 air cleaning speeds from low for quiet operation ideal for night time use to high speed for quick purification or heavily polluted air.MaintenanceThe pre-filter can be cleaned carefully with a vacuum cleaner but it does need to be changed every 6 months. The active carbon filter is unable to be cleaned and needs to be replaced every 6 months.
